TRIP PLANNING: Learn how to perfect your trip planning. We will have three speakers over the evening that will each hone in on a specialty regarding trip planning. From advanced weather forecasting to trip planning like a professional to recalculating in the field, we’re going to dive deep into the art of trip planning. Join us on this educational journey by registering for the 2021 Canuck Splitfest – opening soon!

SATURDAY JANUARY 9, 2021

(RE)FRESH INTO THE BACKCOUNTRY: Tonight is about unity and community. Let’s not only get nostalgic about our first time splitboarding with some heavy-hitting professional snowboarders but let’s also break down some barriers for new splitboarders alike. We’ll be hosting three panels curated with specialists on each topic to educate, stoke, and connect all splitboarders.

Newbies Need to Know + Nostalgia
Progression: Mentorship in Splitboarding
Gear Panel: What’s What and What’s New.

SUNDAY JANUARY 10, 2021

KEYNOTE BY MATT GUNN + PRIZES:
Be prepared to get inspired to explore the Spearhead Range, one of Canada’s best touring assets. Join Matt Gunn for a discussion about the extensive options available off the Whistler Blackcomb lift system, including old growth trees, massive glacier runs, tight couloirs, and steep alpine faces. Matt will provide a sense of opportunities and experiences available in the area and provide insight into the ups and downs (so to speak) of researching, writing and publishing the recently released Spearhead Backcountry Atlas.

Yes we’re still doing prizes this year and a lot of them! Like 19K worth of prizes! Snag your raffle tickets and get all the details here. Don’t miss the opportunity to claim awesome swag from our sponsors.
